Councils A thru F for Sale or Trade (Kirk Doan)
Welcome to my CSP sale and trade list. I have listed all the
varieties of CSPs known to me, along with my estimated value of
each issue. I authored the Blue Book, a Guide to CSP Varieties
and Values in July of 1988, which was perhaps the first major BSA
memorabilia price guide. The following builds upon that effort. Please e-mail
any corrections or additions to this list. I have started with my 1988 listing,
and am going thru it to update it to 1997. I am indicating my needs and duplicates as I go along.
Until a council is updated to 1997, all the information,
including values is as of 1988. If the word DUPE appears, you
know the council has been updated to 1997.
NEED LIST. The following is my personal need list in that if
an [X] preceds a listing, I have it in my personal collection. A
[/] listing means I have a used or flawed copy and would like to
upgrade. I have given my opinion of the value of all issues I
have and need following each listing. I would be interested in
constructive contrary opinions.
SALE LIST. The following is also a sale list. If the word DUPE
follows a listing, I have a duplicate of the listed variety and
it is available for purchase approximately at the current Franck Hook &
Ellis price, plus postage
and handling. Please e-mail me at kirkdoan@sbcglobal.net
to indicate the patches you want and their price. I will confirm
their availability and mail you a bill, with appropriate postage
and handling per the schedule linked to the list. Postage and
handling are the same as for my mail auction. All items subject
to prior sale, and I reserve the right to reject any or all
offers. Remember, until a council is updated to 1997, all info is
as of 1988. If the word DUPE appears, you know a council has been
updated.
TRADE LIST. The following is also a trade list. All duplicate
items are available for trade for any NEED indicated on the list.
You may use my estimates of relative value to help you propose a
trade, but any reasonable offer will be considered. I will also
cross trade for other Scouting or Philatelic material which I may
need.
HAVE FUN. The following list is the most comprehensive CSP
sale/trade list that I have seen on the internet. I will continue
to build upon it in the other areas of Scouting memorabilia which
I am interested in. Also visit Ozark Philatelics if you are
interested in stamp collecting.
